Life moves a mile a minute. One day you notice you’re pinned down by the hurt, exhaustion, and worries of life. As a counselor, I will walk with you during this journey to wellness. As I am on my own wellness journey, I am empathetic to the highs and lows that come with this process.

I am a Michigan native and bring a deep understanding of the state’s communities to my work. I bring a multifaceted background to my work. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology, with minors in both African American Studies and Communications. This combination fuels my passion for understanding people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. When not supporting others, I enjoy traveling, yoga, and exploring the wonders of the animal kingdom. Currently, I serve as a social worker at an elementary school in Howell, Michigan, directly supporting students and their families with social and emotional needs. I have worked as a social worker for five years. My passion lies in advocating for the well-being of young people and fostering an environment conducive for growth.

I am a master’s student in Counseling at Eastern Michigan University, dedicated to empowering individuals on their path to well-being. Upon graduating, I will aim to work with couples and families doing sex therapy. Sex therapy includes everything from exploring sexual pleasure and identity to sexual trauma.

I believe in a collaborative approach to counseling, we will work together to create a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My primary commitment is to your well-being, followed by a continuous pursuit of knowledge to provide you with the most effective treatment options.

During our sessions, we will focus on fostering a sense of empowerment, encouragement, and an improved relationship with yourself. As we navigate your journey, a spectrum of emotions may arise, including joy, anger, pain, and peace. We will explore these emotions, aiming to guide you toward your optimal self.

I look forward to learning and growing with you on this path to wellness.
