As a therapist, it is my job to guide you on your own journey of self-discovery and self-growth. I completed a Bachelor of Psychology at Wayne State University and Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at the Michigan School of Psychology. Through intense practicum and internship exposure I was trained to work with children, adolescents, and adult populations. During this time, I discovered my passion for working with the teen population. Adolescence is stressful and complicated, and I want to be the one to lend a helping hand to those who are feeling the pressure of changes that accompany this period of life.
Past clients of mine would describe me as a compassionate, empathetic, and an authentic professional in the field of psychology. Providing a space for everybody to speak freely without fear of judgement or backlash is something I take very seriously. I believe that foundation of change is built upon a strong and trustworthy relationship between therapist and client. Taking the first step in accessing mental health services, like therapy, can be intimidating and frightening. As a therapist I endeavor to support you through this new journey to help you to overcome the obstacles holding you back from being the best version of yourself.
As a trauma informed therapist, I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral and Humanistic approaches. I specialize in anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, anger management as well as self-esteem deficiency and trauma. With a plethora of experience with many backgrounds and psychological disorders, I am confident that I will be able to help you navigate your emotions and improve your quality of daily life.
Our practice specializes in treating individuals, couples and families, and through years of experience, we are confident that no problem is too great to overcome.
