I believe that reaching out for support takes real courage, and I don’t take that lightly. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and genuinely heard, where you can show up as you are without fear of judgment. I approach therapy with compassion and curiosity, and I believe that real change begins when your story is honored and understood.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Dillard University and my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. My education, along with my clinical experience, has shaped my commitment to providing care that is thoughtful, culturally aware, and grounded in proven approaches.

During my training and internship, I worked with adults in correctional settings, supporting their transition back into the community, as well as in traditional clinical environments. I also gained meaningful experience working with youth and engaging families in the therapeutic process, helping them improve communication, build understanding, and reconnect with one another. Many of the youth and families I’ve worked with have described me as helpful, caring, and nonjudgmental, often sharing that they felt truly heard and finally given the space to express themselves.

I specialize in working with teens and young adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and emotional regulation. I’m especially passionate about supporting youth and their families as they work through challenges and strengthen their relationships with one another.

In my work, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and mindfulness-based techniques. I focus on helping you build practical tools you can use in your daily life, while also creating space for deeper reflection, healing, and growth.

I strive to provide an environment where you can feel comfortable and safe, an outlet to release the pressures and challenges that come with everyday life. I often say, “All feelings are welcome: good, bad, mad, sad, and everything in between.”
