Introspective Counseling is seeking compassionate licensed clinicians
Introspective Counseling is a small group mental health practice in Southfield, MI. We serve adults and teens (14 and up) experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, infidelity, and bipolar disorder and couples experiencing infidelity and communication issues. We are a collaborative team operating from culturally and socially aware, trauma-informed, strength-focused lenses. We employ a variety of modalities but lean heavily toward ACT (Acceptance and Commitment therapy), psychodynamic, DBT, and mindfulness. Other modalities are welcomed!

We are seeking therapists with specialized training in a variety of areas
If you have the qualifications, we want to meet you
- 1+ year of direct experience in providing evidence-based, culturally competent therapy to teens, adults, and/or couples
- Training or specialized experience in a specified modality such as IFS, Somatic Experiencing, Brainspotting, EMDR, ACT, EFT, CBT, DBT, Gottman, etc.
- Cultural competence and awareness of one’s own privilege including how it can impact transference and countertransference
- Strong assessment, note-writing, and treatment-planning skills
- Strong rapport-building skills
- Trauma-informed care
- Attention to detail
- Moderate to advanced tech skills
- Ability to learn quickly and problem-solve with little assistance
- Strong desire and commitment to continued learning and professional growth
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Willingness to learn and grow
What is the compensation?
$55-$75 per hour
