Life is all about decisions from the moment we wake up to the minute we go to bed. Should I hit snooze or get up? Do I wear this or that? Should I take a different way to avoid traffic? Do I really need this second donut? Some decisions we make with ease because the answer just makes sense. Others come with a level of difficulty that we may or may not be prepared for. Some answers come easy, while others take some thought. As we move through life, and begin making decisions about work, relationships, and family we sometimes forget about ourselves – wanting to be everything for everybody and leaving very little for ourselves. If you’ve ever found yourself feeling exhausted from helping others (burnout or compassion fatigue), you’re in the right place to re-center.

I’ve always been an empathetic listener so making sure you feel heard is a priority. From life lessons and schooling, the most important thing I’ve learned is that our happiness and our reality are up to us individually. I have a Bachelor’s in Business Management with a Minor in Communication and a Masters in Counseling from Ashland University. I am eclectic therapist with training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered and Narrative Therapy. The best part of my job is seeing those who are ready to do the work begin seeing small changes in themselves and their environment due to the decisions they’ve made to actively strive for better. Even if you don’t notice it right away, I will encourage you to celebrate those small wins along the way!

As a therapist, I truly enjoy being a part of my clients support system while they discover who they are and who they want to be through every day decisions. All the choices we make big and small contribute to our reality. From deciding if we believe those Imposter Syndrome thoughts saying we don’t deserve to be in the same room as some people, to deciding if we are going to continue that relationship that often feels one sided. I aim to be supportive while helping you maintain accountability as you work through life’s choices. You don’t have to do this alone. I believe in you and I have faith that you can and will become the person you’ve always known you could be.
